Living our life via pictures

Going back to the basics

Bonnie Stevenson

Going back to the basic is something that every photography needs to do every once in a while. So often I find myself day dreaming about a cool shot that I could do later that day and seeing how my flash’s will be set up and what angles would be best to capture the photo. What I have found is this winter I have gone back to the basics. Getting ride of my flash’s throwing the camera in program and trusting the camera in what it is doing. It has been extremely helpful to focus on only the object that I Shooting at the time rather then thinking about camera and flash settings. Dave and Jenny Engagement

Although Flash’s can make for very dramatic pictures that can be award winning shots there is no reason that you must need a flash to take amazing photos. Weather you are a beginner or an expert it is not all about the equipment that you use in photography it is about knowing how to use the equipment. Spend some time with each piece getting know its functions and asking questions. When you finish this you will be able to add more pieces of equipment. My best recommendation is not to get ahead of yourself its harder to play catch up then it is just to take time to learn it the first time. When you start getting into photography the power is in your hands.
