At Capital Photography we commit to providing the end result you desire. This differentiates our service offering from other portrait photographers. Upon hire, our first priority is to listen …to what you like, what you want, and how you think we can best fulfuill your wishes and desires.
As professionals, we recognize that each client assignment will be different and we commit to remaining flexible to accommodate your unique circumstance. In addition, you are allowed to select the photos we will edit for printing; we provide you with a CD with all images at project end (at no additional charge), and printing will be completed for you at our cost.
Below you will see our “Family” packages and on a different page we have our “Children/infant” packages note that we can always combine sessions. For example if we shoot a newborn session we would love to shoot some family pictures as well at no additional cost.
FAMILY
Family is so important as chaiotic schedules pull us apart it is the time when everyone made it to the dinner table, or when the kids came home from college, or even a first birthday that we hold close to our hearts. Having a family portrait done (and done well) helps to remember the times you were together and every time you look at them the bring back those warm memories. WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN BOOKING A FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION WITH US

WHAT IS A CONSULTATION?
This is where the fun begins! We get to sit back, relax and talk about what we can do to tell your story. We will talk about your life, your style, and your clothes. If we are meeting outside of your home I would love to see images of your home so we can talk about certain wall spaces and plan for something that fits YOU. When your Session day arrives, we’ll have a plan so everything goes smoothly–which means LESS stress for you. This can be done in person or over the phone.
You will also be asked to sign a PORTRAIT AGREEMENT prior to your Session detailing the policies and guidelines that we like to adhere to regarding your Session and Image Appointment.
WHEN DO I GET TO SEE MY IMAGES?
You will get to see your images within 10-14 days after your session on our online proofing site. We will talk with you to help you make final decisions on images and products, which we have designed just for you. We do this one of two ways: we can schedule an in-house appointment or can schedule a phone appointment; whichever better fits your schedule.
After this appointment custom products will be ordered and you will be guided to our online print ordering website to order and share your prints.
WHEN DO I GET TO BRING MY IMAGES HOME?
Custom products typically are ready to bring home 4-6 weeks after your portrait session. Print Products ordered online will be shipped directly to you and will arrive within 1-2 weeks of placing your order.
WHAT KIND OF INVESTMENT DO MOST FAMILIES MAKE?
Most of our clients invest anywhere from $550-800
Remember : everyone’s needs are different – some spend a more and some spend a less.
2 hour session: $170 (additional ½ hours are $30)
Includes:
- 2 hours of photography
- Unlimited clothing changes
- Unlimited locations (within 2 hours of start time)
- Online proofing of images to share with friends and family
- Includes 4 low resolution images for use in facebook/email
- One 20 page proof book (yours to keep with a $250 print order)
1 hour session: $125
Includes:
- 1 hour of photography
- Unlimited clothing changes
- Up to 2 locations
- Online proofing of images to share with friends and family
- Includes 2 low resolution images for use in facebook/email
- One 10 page proof book (yours to keep with a $250 print order)
**After your session, we will have your proofbook shipped directly to you. At the time of the shoot a $150 deposit is due which will be deposited and can be returned if the proof book is returned.
If the Total is over $950 you get a low resolution dvd of all your images to be used for email or facebook, these images are not to be used for prints.
